    Yes, these were tasty, but there are other bars and candies with this same taste (also low carb and sugar free) for less money. I don’t know who rated this as best tasting, because they are average. I think these may have more maltodextrin in them than others, as one bar was enough to send me running to the toilet (where other brands did not have that effect on me.) I understand not everyone has that intolerance, so I am going off of taste. They are small and there was no way to substitute it as a meal for a grown person, especially one trying to lose weight (having been used to a full meal)

    I was pleasantly surprised at the “Thin Mint-like” taste to this low carb bar. The chocolate taste isn’t as strong so it doesn’t taste like a cakey, healthy protein bar. Be careful not to take too big of a bite, the peppermint may irritate your throat. Also, it was very good to find a low carb protein bar that only has 3.5 grams of fat. I haven’t had any bathroom problems from CarbRite products like the reviewer before me. Although, I do agree that these bars aren’t that filling compared to an actual meal. These are good for afternoon snacks, breakfast on-the-go or your protein fix after the gym.
