I hate to break it to everyone but so many of these “health crazes” are absolute 100% bullshit. Granted, they won’t necessarily hurt you directly but from the standpoint of unfulfilled promises at an astronomical price, they DO hurt. BTW, a couple of other major examples? “Organic” and “detox.” Pure 100% BS that takes advantage of the gullible generations of the last 50 years.

i love acai berry.. it’s helped me so far, with regular exercise and eating healthily… some websites are scams, but it is best to go to your local health store… that’s where i got mine :) … plus, some of them are ‘fair trade’… it’s a win win???>

    WTF!?!?!
FOX is such a fucking JOKE !!
acai berry juice is a scam, why in the fuck would FOX advertise this shit??
this is seriously disgusting when a “news” show is running a bias study thats more like a commercial, and you know idiots are watching saying “wow, i can loose that extra 100 pounds and not do anything!” fucking stupid…..fuck FOX!

imagine the combined effects of marijuana and acai, that would be an ultra health blend

    Other tidbits
On the label of Mona Vie, it says Reconstitued apple, pear etc
All that means is from Concentrate!

Theyre charging from $28-30 a bottle for juice from concentrate with a small percentage (10-15%)of Acai and call it the acai blend.

The more you learn, the more angry you get. Money and time was wasted.

I believe in good health, but there are better and cheaper alternatives.
Glucosamine, Good Fish Oil, Blueberries/berries, Cranberry juice & veggies for fiber
    Sambazon is also good

CEO Dallin Larsen was shut down by the FCC and fined $2 Million dollars prior.
    Its public info,-Wikipedia

Newsweek correspondent Dokupil, Larsen, a 20-year-veteran of the MLM industry”, “left a senior post at another juice company in 2002, before the FDA destroyed the company’s bogus products that were being falsely promoted to treat cancer, arthritis & attention deficit disorder.”

Its actually bad enough that they are not giving the workers more than $5 dollars a day that harvest this fruit, now they are going to charge $180 for something they are extremely exaggerating on benificial so called facts, that doesn’t even add up in price… There is no dought that many of the reports are going to be biased on ‘Life preserving/ Cancer battling’ exploits. Oranges, Kiwi, Blackcurrant… I wonder why thats in the mix and not just ‘Acai’ berries. Think about it.

I actually tried it for 2 months and its regular. Just eat your 5 a day (as much as you want really) and you will reap the same benifits, and not pay $180 a month for another fruit that has a low population and slightly higher anti-oxidant level In a bottle. Whats going to be next… recycling and eating your own faecial deposits ‘Is Great for Diet’ !!!

Without meaning to be rude, but, since this fruit is quite hard to grow and to get hold of as the ‘Actual Fruit’ I really believe this is a scam to commercially sell this ‘Super, Super fruit’ on a world wide scale… There has been a report that a man got over HiV/Aids by just drinking orange juice. This fruit may be great but is not a ‘Miracle’ fruit…

The second girl hit it on the head, the trial run is normally 90-120 days. The drink is bad-ass. It basically gives you all the nutritional value that you need, that’s why people start feeling better. The reason it’s a super fruit is because if that was the only thing you ate for a year, you would be fine and get all the nutrients you need to live.

@rodangib Your advice is very sound rodangib but we need to see the bigger picture. I no longer believe that Being fat is a personal Choice, rather it is forced upon us and we must fight very hard to remain fit. The main culprit is Fructose. I wrote an article about it on my website rayshealth

i tried this product before. i bought a bottle to get more energy and i bought the pack to put n my skin, i did not buy it to lose weight. i noticed that it took away my appetite almost completely… because of that i stopped using it because i didnt want to lose weight. for those of u who are looking for a way to surpress your appetite then maybe this product is for u, but as far as it being a energy booster, pain killer or skin polisher… i saw no evidence of that at all.

I just bought some and I lift weights and do cardio 3x a week, Here’s a low carb post exercise nutrition shake 2scoops whey protein, 2 eggs, 1-2T spoons of cream, 1T ground flaxseed, 1/2 cup of mixed berries, water to thin, 5 grams of creatine and five grams of glutamine also take your acai berry pills and any other multivitamins and 1-2 fish oil capsules, there’s just enough carbs to shuttle all this goodness straight to the muscles but not enough for fat gain. Consume 2 hrs post workout.

LOL.. What is funny is that people actually 10000% believe that if the take the acai berry juice or supplement they will get totally ripped and shredded in 4 weeks..lol.. You have to have muscle to be ripped.. and you get muscle by working out.. no other way.. People in America are so gullible.. some times I’m ashamed to live in the same country as some of these people. All this is a Placebo.. a bullshit berry backed with great marketing…lol
